FAST FACTS:  South Western Ontario Infection Control Network (SWOICN)
SWOICN is one of 14 Regional Infection Control Networks in Ontario, and is part of a larger organization called Public Health Ontario.  SWOICN serves healthcare stakeholders, providing advice, tools, and other resources to help improve infection prevention and control practices. Our Stakeholders include but are not limited to long term care and retirement homes, public health units, acute care facilities and other community health providers.
 
SWOICN serves Bruce, Huron, Perth, Middlesex, Elgin and Oxford counties, as well as parts of Grey and Norfolk counties.
 
SWOICN staff support health care providers within the geographic boundaries established for the South West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN2).  A map of our region is available here.
 
SWOICN offices are located in the St. Marys Wellness Centre in the town of St. Marys.
